This is a very special vintage couture cocktail shift dress from famous milliner Mr.John. This gorgeous grey sleeveless 60s number is covered in gunmetal grey beads and rhinestones (this makes the garment quite heavy). It dazzles under the light! The neckline features a tie which wraps around to fasten at the back of the neck with a button. It is fully lined and includes bra strap fasteners. There are no opening and it easily slips on over the head.

John Harberger was one of the foremost milliner's of the 20th Century. Harberger started Mr.John after closing his millinery business in 1948. It continued into the 1970s.

MATERIAL: Possibly a very lightweight and loose weave wool with a silk lining.
CONDITION: Very good. There is a small tear at the left side seam, under the arm (pictured). There are also a few loose threads coming from the fabric.
